Barbara Prodaniuk is a California-based ceramic artist whose work spans sculptural forms, wall pieces, and functional pottery. Employing both wheel-thrown and slab construction techniques, she works with porcelain and stoneware clay bodies, firing to cone 10 in a gas kiln. Her sculptural pieces often incorporate mixed media elements, reflecting her curiosity for form and texture.

Inspired by the rhythms of everyday life and the abundance of natural forms surrounding her home, Prodaniuk has been creating from her studio in Truckee, California, since 1981. Her work has been exhibited locally and nationally and is held in private collections across the United States.

Prodaniuk earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Northridge, and apprenticed at The Clay Pot in Calabasas, California, while pursuing her studies between 1976 and 1978. She has also shared her expertise as a Ceramic Instructor at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada (1994–1997), and as a Summer Program Instructor in Ceramic Basic Design at Moorpark Junior College (1980).
